Outland Denim Celebrates International Women’s Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day Outland Denim has released Ginny’s Girl Gang Capsule Collection.

The Australian denim company, known for its sustainability had partnered with indigenous artist Ginny’s Girl Gang for the limited-edition collaboration. The collection features sustainably made tees and totes. The capsule is entitled Stronger TogetHER “is a celebration of women empowering women from all walks of life.”

Stronger TogetHER features original artwork by Gomaroi/Gamilaraay artist and founder of Ginny’s Girl Gang, Regina Jones. The artwork showcases Bora Ring, an indigenous symbol. It is a place of spiritual and historical significance but is also a safe  space for women to “come together, learn, teach, and celebrate.”

The collaboration is creating a new path in the future by combining modern design with a rich history in a sustainable way.

“The thing that really drew me to Outland Denim was their focus on sustainability – designing and creating with the future in mind!” States Ginny’s Girl Gang founder Regina Jones. “Ginny’s Girl Gang is about sustainability and the oldest living culture, what could make for a better collaboration?”

In addition, there are two exclusively made denim jackets from the collection that will be given away on the Outland Denim Instagram.

The collection will be made in Cambodia “founded to offer holistic support, training, and employment to young women who have experienced exploitation. The company provides a living wage, education, health services, and other benefits for its staff. ”

Regina Jone’s designs have been featured in Vogue, as well as worn by Celeste Barber. Outland Denim has been worn by Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eric McCormack, Alicia Silverstone, and others.
