From Pre-Law To The Runway: The Pish Posh Girl Ascends
The Pish Posh Girl sets the tone for her inner rebel with an exotic yet authentic handcrafted feel in her work that would make anybody take a double look. The visualist, artist, designer, and creative director is live and ready to share her brand PishPosh with the rest of the world!
About Imani Harris
Emani Harris has always had a strong devotion for the arts since she was in the first grade. It’s too no surprise that ambition and hustle are still untarnished! Her brand launched in 2014, with the motto of always making wearable art that could radiate love and joy to the rest of the world.
Emani is a former postgraduate from North Carolina A&T State University in 2018 with a degree in pre-law. She thought she had aspirations to become a lawyer, but her creative spirit took her into another dimension of possibilities. After this, Emani took it upon herself to dedicate herself solely to the arts after realizing this was her true calling.
When Creativity Meets Hustle
The young designer has produced a wide variety of products throughout the years from raw canvas to handmade garments. Her work is astonishing in the way she captures art from a canvas and transforms it to create her universal language through fashion statements.
Emani took it upon herself to dedicate everything to her brand and travel while hoping to inspire others to turn their dreams into reality.
From being nominated number 10 on BET’s top 25 black-owned businesses to getting her work in the New York Street Fashion Week 2020, Emani is on a mission to become her greatest version of herself.
Her remarkable embodiment of hard work has allowed her to produce garments for many talented musical artists in the industry such as Dave East, ABoogie wIth the hoodie, Big Sean, Kehlani, Dutchess of Black Ink, Rod Wave, Toosie2x, Stunna 4 Vegas, Pnb Rock, and many more.
The Power of Authenticity
Emani’s enthusiasm for creating is igniting cultural shifts for the future of fashion. Her ability to create versatile art and then make it wearable is the reason why the PishPosh legacy will always be unique!
