YouTuber JoJo Siwa blasted actress Candace Cameron Bure in a viral TikTok exposing her as the rudest celebrity she ‘s met. In the video she also revealed her celebrity crush, the nicest celebrity she’s met, the coolest celebrity she’s met, and the celebrity that did her dirty.

Monday, July 25, Siwa posted on TikTok naming Zendaya as her celebrity crush, Miley Cyrus as the nicest celebrity she’s met, Elton John as the coolest celebrity she’s met, and showed a picture of SpongeBob SquarePants for the celebrity that did her dirty. Some fans suspect that the picture of SpongeBob SquarePants is a reference to Nickelodeon and the issues she has had with them.

In the video Siwa flashed her phone in front of the camera to quickly show a picture of the celebrity for each superlative making it difficult for people to see which celebrity she was talking about. However, fans found other ways to see the celebrities she exposed. Some fans saved the video and uploaded it to the video editing app Cap Cut to reduce the speed of the video so they can clearly see the pictures of the celebrities displayed on her screen, according to fans in the comments section of the post.

Two days after the post went viral Bure addressed the drama in an Instagram post. The Full House alum said she was shocked when she saw the viral TikTok video, and she immediately tried to reach out to Siwa. Bure said she tried multiple attempts to reach out to her to clear the air. She tried reaching out to her through a mutual friend, then her publicist contacted Siwa’s manager, and Bure dm’d her to resolve the issue.

In a recent YouTube video ET Canada talked about the Bure-Siwa drama and offered their perspective on the controversy. The rude encounter Siwa was referring to in her TikTok video is from 6 years ago when she first met Bure on the red carpet at the Fuller House premiere. (Video via ET Canada).

Bure confirmed that she called Siwa Tuesday morning and was finally able to talk with her. She said that she and Siwa had a good conversation. At first Siwa did not want to tell Bure what she did that was rude because it was silly, according to Bure. Siwa ultimately confessed that when she met her on the red carpet at the Premiere of Fuller House she asked Bure for a picture and she told 11-year-old Siwa “not right now” and continued to take pictures with other people.

Bure said that Siwa told her that she did not know the video was going to blow up like it did, and that it’s not a big deal to her anymore. She continued to tell Bure that now as an adult she understands how crazy red carpets can be. Bure apologized to Siwa to let her know how sorry she was that she broke her heart when she was younger and told Siwa she apologizes to her mom too for hurting her daughter.

“I am sorry to your mom too that I did that to her daughter because I know if anyone crosses my kids like mama bear comes out,” said Bure in her Instagram video recalling what she said to Siwa in a phone call earlier that day.

In Siwa and Bure’s off camera phone conversation Bure said that the two made up by remarking on each other’s career. Bure told her that she is a great role model because of her positivity, and Siwa said she still loves Full House and that it’s her comfort show. Towards the end of the video Bure made it clear that there is no more drama between her and 19-year-old Siwa. At the end of her video Bure said the lesson to be learned is that words and actions matter and to be mindful because people influence others in their everyday life and on social media.

“I just hope that we could all have grace for one another and there may be one moment in your life and you may be that person who wasn’t at their best or you may have been on the receiving end of someone that wasn’t at their best but that shouldn’t define the person and their character if it’s a one time thing and it’s the consistency of their life”, said Bure.

Some of Bure’s celebrity friends came to her aid to defend her in the comments section of her Instagram post. Actresses Tori Spelling and Jill Wagner along with professional dancer Jenna Johnson gave their love and support for Bure. TV personality Amy Roloff went on to agree with the former Hallmark icon and said that she also tries to meet and take pictures with all her fans, but is not able to get to everyone. Roloff said it is unintentional but “we do our best”.

“@candacecbure you are officially my spirit animal! So eloquently put. I’m sitting here crying 😭 watching this video. Rings soooooo true. You are truly an inspiration! Love u. Xo,” said Tori Spelling in the comment section of Bure’s Instagram post.

The Bure-Siwa drama seemed to be resolved until Siwa’s recent interview with WhereistheBuzz TV at the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3 premiere suggested otherwise. In the interview she told WhereistheBuzz TV that “it’s a hard situation” and that “not all of the story was told.” She said that her younger self was really hurt when Bure did not take a picture with her and saw her take pictures with other people. Siwa said it is a memory she has always carried and will not forget.

“Nothing is ever good in Hollywood, but we pretend like it is,” said Siwa when asked if everything is good in Hollywood between her and Bure.

In a now deleted Instagram story Natasha Bure, the daughter of Candace Cameron Bure, stood up for her mother by remarking on the issue. In her Instagram story she commented on how “this generation is so sensitive and has no backbone”. Bure said Siwa needs to grow up and that “there are bigger issues in this world than this”, according to US Weekly.
