NFL Quarterbacks’ Favorite Music

NFL Quarterbacks’ Favorite Music

Tom Brady

The 7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has a pregame playlist with a variety of artists. Brady seems to mix his genres, always starting with some hip-hop like Kendrick Lamar or Drake, followed by Imagine Dragons and Pearl Jam before he gets back into hip-hop with Travis Scott and 50 Cent. Brady says these songs help him “get in the zone,” and they clearly seem to be working for him.

Patrick Mahomes II

Mahomes, number 15 on the Kansas City Chiefs, listens to pop, rap and, surprising to some, electronic music. The artists in his playlist include DJ Khaled, Machine Gun Kelly, the Jonas Brothers and Kygo. However, his most frequently played song is “No Bystanders” by Travis Scott. These tunes are a big part of his pregame and help keep his head in the game.

Russel Wilson

Wilson’s pregame songs would throw Brady and Mahomes into a bit of a spiral. The Denver Bronco is usually listening to some gospel music before he hits the field. In fact, his favorite song to listen to is “I’m Gonna Be Ready” by Yolanda Adams. Wilson explicitly does not listen to any type of rap before the games, claiming he wants his energy to be chill.

Joe Burrow

This Cincinnati Bengals quarterback’s favorite artist is Kid Cudi. His favorite song of his is “New York City Rage Fest”. However, he loves to listen to Cudi’s album “Man on the Moon” before every game. Burrow is such a huge fan of Cudi’s that he was on stage with him during his performance at the Super Bowl after party earlier this year.

Josh Allen

The Buffalo Bills player has an old school playlist that might make your parents or even your grandparents excited to hear. The quarterback loves Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Billy Joel. It’s nothing too upbeat, though, as Allen says he wants his pregame music to keep him calm.

Lamar Jackson

This Baltimore Raven has a true connection to the hip-hop scene. Growing up in Pompano Beach, Florida, a major area of development for the genre, Jackson has always listened to it. Some of his favorite artists are Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, especially Kodak, as the two went to the same elementary school and are still friends today.
