Young Up and Coming Actors: Ariana Greenblatt
Do you remember what you had accomplished by the time you were 13 years old? Maybe you won a little league game or aced a challenging test. In the case of Ariana Greenblatt, there are far bigger challenges ahead, like which A-list star driven movie will further her career this year.

She was born in New York and began acting professionally at age 6. At just 13 years old, she is one of the hardest working young actresses in Hollywood. Amongst her previous acting credits are a starring role in the Disney Channel series Stuck in the Middle, as well as other appearances in A Bad Mom’s Christmas and Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War as “Young Gamora.” Film acting is hard enough for an actor without taking into account the challenges of expensive visual effects and a huge franchise behind the name of the movie.

Greenblatt is set to play “Tiny Tina,” a teenage explosives expert in the upcoming film Borderlands. Eli Roth’s adaptation of the video game phenomenon also stars Hollywood heavyweights Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jack Black. We will also see her this summer as “Julia” in the Angelina Jolie produced film, The One and Only Ivan, a live action children’s movie about a gorilla trying to escape circus captivity.

With a range of impressive performances under her belt, and a talented slate of co-stars, Greenblatt is sure to have a bright future in Hollywood. Her new performances are lined up for the rest of the year with impressive big-budget films such as Netflix’s sci-fi thriller Awake, alongside Gina Rodriguez, and Paramount’s Love and Monsters with Dylan O’Brien. Child stardom is incredibly difficult for those who are subjected to it, so we wish her the best in navigating the intense world she is sure to be in for years to come.
