Gigi Hadid has unveiled her label’s second capsule collection, “Varsity Funk.” It is a limited-edition collection by Guest In Residence, Hadid’s knitwear line. Each piece is comfy as well as stylish.
Overall, the collection displays school-inspired knitwear with color-blocking details. Hadid reinterpreted conventional school items like varsity jackets, rugby shirts, and basketball shorts. With a unique preppy style, she created renewed heritage pieces. The hand-crochet details embody football laces while floating knit techniques add dimension.
The essential items range from button-down cardigans to pull sweaters. The pullover sweater features a zip-up detail and a kangaroo pocket at the front. Also, the color contrasts are cute, contemporary, and unique.
While the ruby shirt features asymmetrical striped patterns on the sleeves, the cardigan displays stitching on the shoulders and necklines.
