Street Style October 2024
As fall continues, so does fall street style. Consumers everywhere show off their unique personal brand and style. Once fashion week ends, the street becomes the runway for many fashion lovers. After all, runway shows don’t happen every day.
Nevertheless, everyone has a style unique to themselves. Clothes are a form of self-expression. Essentially, these ‘street shows’ happen everywhere, and especially in cities. Cities are more than concrete jungles, they offer the perfect runway for everyday consumers.
New York City
In keeping with current trends, New Yorkers are known for their street style. For instance, take the first couple that appears in the above video, the Young Emperors. The pair is wearing matching cinched denim jackets, rose bags, black trousers, and black turtlenecks.
In addition, leather pieces and modern business wear appear too. Monochromatic looks are popular, including a number of relaxed office outfits. Ultimately, consumers are wearing office wear like trousers and vests outside of their day jobs.
Berlin, Germany
German street style plays with texture and fabric. Consumers wear metallic puffer jackets and vivid leather boots. In addition, denim is a constant and baggy jeans are popular.
The mixing of patterns and materials makes German street style what it is. Leopard and leather mix well together. Also, the silhouettes of these looks are often unconventional. For instance, look 2 in the video above shows a woman strutting in a denim outfit with a fur collar.
Paris
As with New York, the “City of Love” boasts its business wear. Ties with designer pendants from brands like Prada and Vivienne Westwood are popular. Additionally, suits, both conventional and eccentric, are worn by consumers.
Parisians often wear suits with exquisite tailoring. The fit, cut, and shape of these pieces range depending on the design. Nonetheless, they take street style to a new, more sophisticated level.
Simply put, street style across the globe is crucial to self expression. Consumers everywhere use fashion to show their personalities. Without everyday style, inspiration for runway shows would deplete and the industry would be over. Street style is a never-ending love letter to fashion, and it grows each day.
