Sasha Allen’s Debut Album “Gallery”
On Friday, June 26th, 24 year-old Sasha Allen releases his debut album “Gallery”. The indie pop artist finally unveils what fans have been waiting for. His highly anticipated 10 song album is sure to not disappoint. The LA based singer-songwriter first achieved national recognition through his appearance on Season 21 of NBC’s The Voice. On the show, he gained valuable experience as a member of multi platinum and grammy award winning artist Ariana Grande’s team. Though he did not end the show victorious, fans fell in love with his wide vocal range and beautiful, descriptive storytelling skills.
Throughout the 10 tracks, Allen explores themes of vulnerability, heartbreak, love and melancholy. He weaves together stories he’s collected throughout the years and turns them into something more. It’s relatable, honest and deeply personal. His music is rooted in self discovery and focuses heavily on self identity. As a result, it inherently transcends genre boundaries.
As deep folklike acoustic storytelling meshes with contemporary pop melodies, Allen creates a symphony of sound unique to him. Almost every track begins with the guitar. And that’s intentional. Sasha has built his brand with his voice and guitar in hand. You best bet he’s not forgetting where he’s come from. Instead, he’s evolving into someone he’s always thought he could be.
‘Gallery’ Defines Sasha Allen’s Career
Furthermore, Allen’s enthusiasm for the album is off the charts as he explains his inspiration behind‘Gallery’. “I write constantly, and building this tracklist meant revisiting years of songs and experiences to find the ones that felt most representative of who I am as an artist. This album is a collection of my favorite songs out of the hundreds I’ve written, and a window into every experience that shaped me into who I am now.”
Allen continues to gain popularity on social media, sitting at almost 2 million followers across TikTok and Instagram. This accompanies almost 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify even before his debut album releases. Fans adore his social commentary, which is highly prevalent in his music as well, and devotion to queer issues. His self-recorded debut EP, ‘Jawbreaker’, released in 2025, combines life’s most difficult emotions allowing the listener to heal through song.
But Sasha understands the importance of an album. He further understands the impact a debut album will have on his career. That’s why ‘Gallery’ is two fold; It’s the most important collection of music he’s ever released and the most personal. “As my first ever full-length album, The Gallery captures much of the life that led me to this moment,” said Allen. His authenticity is refreshing. This release has shaped his journey to date and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the budding young talent next! This is only the beginning.
