Whether it be about self-love or finding love in others, songs like Grrls, If You Love Me, and Break Up Twice represent healing and finding self-worth.

She mentions in an interview with Zane Lowe she says,

“Everything now has this special feel to it, and this glow, this sparkle. Ever since that’s the era I’m moving into. It’s out of the darkness and into the light.”
