Drake’s Upcoming Album, “For All The Dogs”
Drake’s new and upcoming album “For All the Dogs,” initially set for release on Friday, August 25th, fans anxiously await the postponed anonymous date.
While the fans have every right to feel disappointed that the album was not released on the rumored date, the rapper himself did not provide a specific release date for the album; instead, it was the fans who did. With Drake’s fan base being one of the largest out there, the public creates different gossip every day–leading to confusion.
The rapper is currently on his “It’s All a Blur Tour,” and with that, he has been able to perform while working on the album.
With potential features such as Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, Nicki Minaj, and Bad Bunny appearing on this album, it gives fans the reassurance that no matter when the release date is, it will be worth the wait.
Drake’s son, Adonis, created the album cover, revealing a different side of the artist that the fans have never seen before.
With the rapper’s past album covers typically being pictures of himself and other scenery, he chose to have his son draw a picture of a dog to match the theme of the album, “For All the Dogs.”
While some find the cover terrifying, others find comfort in the fact that Drake is embracing a new era in his life that involves his son. With Drake keeping his son a secret in the past, it seems that he is finally able to branch out and figure out how he is going to move forward in the industry.
Now the question of: When is the album dropping?
Though there is no guarantee, Drake’s release track record narrows down to September or November. With hopes of the album being released sooner, all we can do is practice patience and start planning the listening party of the year!
