1. Outer Banks
This teen drama first appeared on Netflix on April 15, 2020. The show is set in a coastal town in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. There is palpable tension between the working-class residents of the town and the wealthy vacationers, nicknamed pogues and kooks respectively. The series follows a group of teen locals on the search for John B’s missing father. They must navigate the world of drugs, money, love, and fighting while also avoiding the law and a group of kooks from Figure 8. The second season just premiered on July 30, 2021.
2. All American
The CW sports-drama series premiered on October 10, 2018. The third season was just released to Netflix, and a fourth season will air on CW on October 25, 2021. The series follows a teen football player from South L.A. who is recruited to play in Beverly Hills. Spencer James must navigate two vastly different worlds as they begin to collide. The show is inspired by the life of pro-football player Spencer Paysinger
3. Hit & Run
This new Netflix Original Series premiered on August 6, 2021. After his wife is killed in a mysterious hit and run, Segav Azula is on the hunt for her killers. With help from an ex-lover, he begins to uncover disturbing truths and secrets his wife had kept from him.
4. Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami
This docuseries follows the story of drug kingpins Sal Magluta and Willie Falcon. The series shows how Willie and Sal went from two childhood friends who dropped out of high school to Miami’s most powerful drug lords.
5. Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified
Netflix’s new investigative docuseries explores UFO monitoring programs that some governments attempt to hide. It also provides facts about just how close of content the world has had with alien life.
6. CoComelon
CoComelon has been a hit amongst young children. The show helps teach kids animals, letters, numbers, and more with musical rhymes.
7. Virgin River
This romantic drama first premiered on Netflix in 2019. Based on novels by the same name the show follows an L.A. nurse practitioner that goes to work as a midwife and NP in the remote town of Virgin River.
