San Francisco, A City Like No Other

If you’ve never been to San Francisco, I’m here to tell you that you have been missing out. Despite only being the 4th biggest city in California and the 17th biggest in the country, San Fran is one of the coolest places you’ll ever visit. The art, fashion, food, culture, and just overall vibe are truly unbeatable.

If this is your first time in Frisco, you won’t want to miss a few classic sights. Make sure you head to Alamo Square Park for the iconic view of those colorful townhouses, The Painted Ladies. While you’re in the area, you can take a walk through Haight-Ashbury, one of the hippest and most interesting neighborhoods in the whole city. Then take a drive up to the top of Twin Peaks for an unforgettable panoramic view of San Francisco and the bay.

During the rest of your trip, you can visit the country’s earliest Chinatown neighborhood, go shopping, and maybe spot some sea lions at Fisherman’s Wharf, and snap some photos of the famously steep and winding Lombard Street. For those of you interested in some more nature-focused activities, you can head to Golden Gate Park, a sprawling green space that stretches all the way to the beach on the Pacific Ocean. Of course, you’ll want to take a trip over the Golden Gate Bridge itself and get some photos to take home. While you’re on the other end of the bay, make a stop at Muir Woods National Monument, a beautiful park with hundreds of towering redwood trees just north of the city.
