The Pridwin Hotel and Cottages
First, The Pridwin Hotel and Cottages will be open for Thanksgiving and New Year’s, along with their normal winter schedule! Those dates are between November 23 to November 27 and December 28 through January 1. Pridwin Hotel and Cottages is located by the Shelter Island’s Crescent Beach and includes 49 rooms and 16 private cottages. Recently, the Pridwin has just reopened this past summer after two long years of impressive renovations. The renovations, thanks to Colleen Bashaw’s lead, create a both playful and elegant combination of traditional and modern style. The hotel offers amazing dining and even two beautiful spaces for private dining events. They named the cottages on the grounds after a range of trees that can be found while exploring the island. The cottages are great and cozy places to stay in the winter season! They include wood burning fireplaces and amazing water views of Crescent Beach.
The Baron’s Cove
Next, the Baron’s Cove is located in the village of Sag Harbor. It will be available through the winter season and specifically for Thanksgiving, and Christmas during December 23 to December 26. The rooms are all bright and modern with a historical quaint touch. They have rooms facing the harbor, garden, and even dog-friendly spaces for those who want to bring their pets along for the holidays! Their Thanksgiving offer will be particularly special, where you won’t have to worry about the fuss of cooking! Basically, for $95 per person, you can get a full Thanksgiving meal. This includes an appetizer, soup or salad, entree and dessert between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
