True Tribe SS’20

True Tribe SS’20

Paris born Alexandre Sundberg. In fact, the brand was born out of his desire to explore a more rugged form of existence. This gave rise to True Tribe and its “Bare Minimum” approach, emphasizing maximum freedom ; both of movement and spirit. True Tribe channels this ethos through timeless collections which comprise of versatile shorts to swim, relax or work out in and a range of jackets.

True Tribe is setting a new standard for conscious fashion. New to the US market, the French brand inspired by aboriginal art from North West Australia, uses sustainable fabrics made from recycled bottles, fishing nets and organic cotton. Embracing “slow” fashion, each garment takes nearly 4 hours to complete. Founder Alexandre Sundberg has set up a small atelier in Karachi, Pakistan, with the aim to transfer French craftsmanship and help the country diversity its textile economy dependent on Fast Fashion Giants.

True Tribe uses sustainable fabrics ECONYL® and NEWLIFYARNS TM, made from recycled bottles and fishing nets to create each collection. Embracing slow fashion, True Tribe has set up a small atelier in Karachi, Pakistan, in which working conditions drastically differ from the country’s usual standards. True Tribe collaborates with Antoinette et Freddy, a French design house that works closely with aboriginal artists around the world to produce vibrant handrawn-motifs. The collection comes in prints, swimwear ( that can also be used for working out) and am active line.  In the new collection we can see Italian fabrics and  100 percent organic Egyptian cotton.
