As the new year rolled in, many have wanted to make some type of change in their lives. Examples would be like changing their attitude, wardrobe, hustling harder for money, or just simply buying new things. Of course the majority wanted to lose weight, which is very common. Meanwhile, Grammy nominated rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, has made a commitment with her team to keep their bodies in shape and for their own health.

She announced on Instagram, “It’s not necessarily a weight loss journey but a health journey. Y’all will be experiencing this with me every step of the way. Real healthy girl sh*t…”
Friday, January 15, Megan says on Instagram, “I wanted to take ya’ll on a little healthy journey with me, just because I feel like ya’ll will hold me accountable. I feel like if I’m going on it with ya’ll, then I will be motivated to do the right thing!” She names the video ‘Thee last cheat meal’, where she an her team can eat anything and as much as they want.
Her second video, she is recorded throwing food away that isn’t healthy from her fridge and cabinets. Throughout the video, she shows how hard it is to throw away good quality snacks and sweets. Megan said “I did not think that I was this attached to the things that are in my cabinets, in my refrigerator” She makes her way through the house to ask everyone if they wanted anything in the house before she threw it away. They go on to say that they don’t need it, that she can toss it in the trash.
Megan has always showcased body positivity. She recently dropped her debut album “Good News”. The song “Body” featuring on her album, went viral through all social media outlets. Women started to love their bodies and appreciate themselves a lot more. Megan Thee Stallion has been a wonderful advocate for showing that loving yourself is your strongest power you could own.
