Teah Pearl Releases New Single “Hold On”
Releasing her first ever project in 2018 titled “Love Story,” DMV artist Teah Pearl has just made her newest single “Hold On” available to the world. Teah made the announcement, “Done holding out … my new single “Hold On” drops December 11th on ALL platforms,” to all of her supporters via Twitter. The track can be streamed on any service you can think of and is also accessible for purchase on Amazon and iTunes. With her music garnering thousands of views on YouTube and streams on Spotify, Teah Pearl is the next artist to watch out for in the R&B music scene.
Produced by Jeaux Smeaux and engineered by Jon Doe productions, this four and a half minute long ballad tells the story of a couple drifting apart and a young woman struggling to keep the relationship afloat. Teah pours her heart and soul into every note being sung and her voice being accompanied by the piano in the background allows the listener to truly feel the emotions being conveyed in this song.
If you are one who enjoys listening to the more mellow sounds of the neo-soul genre, Pearl’s first six song long project of “Love Story” would be an amazing listen. Some of her highest viewed and most popular songs from that EP are Energy, which has almost 5,000 views on YouTube, and Stay, which has almost 1,000 views. But in comparison to her prior releases, “Hold On” definitely gives listeners a more traditional R&B sound.
Although “Hold On” is the only single released during this new year so far, more music is soon to be unveiled. To listen to Teah’s previous projects, you can visit Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Pandora and Tidal. And to keep up with Teah Pearl’s up and coming projects, you can follow her Twitter and Instagram pages which both share the handle @TeahPearl.
