Yasmine Sahid and Durafest2 Announce New Tubi Series
Yasmine Sahid, and Durafest2 (Alex Maystrik and Pablo Hernandez) announce release of new Tubi series “Never Have I Spent the Winter with the Roman Brothers”.

Sahid, a rising actress, writer, and comedian, is one of TikTok’s leading creators. Sahid’s had multiple career-defining opportunities like hosting at the SAG Awards or the Oscars red carpets and attending film festivals such as Cannes.
Just this past year, Sahid was listed on TikTok’s 2025 Discover List, a creator award highlighting those who make a positive cultural impact on and off the app. Represented by Dani Jacobson at Untitled Entertainment, Jayme Yarow at Palette Media, and Ashley Silver at BFBST, Yasmine is taking the entertainment and film industry by storm.
Alex Maystrik and Pablo Hernandez, better known as Durafest2, are social media mavens. Best known for their character-driven comedy skits and film sketches, the pair has over 900,000 followers across social media platforms. Their careers have seen a wide range of success, including performing live improv around LA, hosting red carpets, and collaborating with musical star Charli XCX.
Together, Sahid and Durafest2 accumulate over 3 million combined followers who are excited to watch the show on air. “Never Have I Spent the Winter with the Roman Brothers” started as part of the Tubi x TikTok Creatorverse Incubator.
The Tubi x TikTok Creatorverse Incubator is a program the two brands created. It aims to transfer short-form content creators over to long-form content creation. On October 27th, 12 digital creators were officially announced as part of the program. This resulted in 10 long-form original series hitting the Tubi network.
The Series Plot
“Never Have I Spent the Winter with the Roman Brothers” is a satirical comedy that follows the story of Gigi Hasiq (Yasmine Sahid). Her life completely derails after losing her parents in a cruise ship accident. Now she is forced to move to Alaska with a close family friend and readjust to her new life. There, she meets the Romano brothers, Sam (Alex Maystrik) and Lorenzo (Pablo Hernandez), the small town’s “it” boys. At first she is unimpressed by the boys. However, she soon falls for their vulnerability and charm, resulting in a heated love triangle.
What Audiences can Expect
Brad A. Kinnan will direct the series while his wife, Holly Dodson is lead producer. Kinnan is a founding member of DYNMC Creative, a full-service production company specializing in film, television, commercial, and branded content. Kinnan’s work includes partnerships with The Academy to cover the Oscars, producing the “Thirst” episode of Hulu’s “Bite Size”, and even editing an award-nominated music video for Green Day’s “Dilemma”. DYNMC’s inclusion on this project marks its latest expansion of its entertainment prospects.
Stars like Ashley Gill, Tommy Do, Jamie Ary, and Will Hines, and more will appear throughout the new Tubi series. Its specific release date is unspecified, but it’s set to air in December 2026.
