A Sneak Peek of Carrie’s Fashion in ‘And Just Like That…’ Season 2
From Sex And The City to And Just Like That…, Carrie Bradshaw is as fabulous and fashionable as ever. As season 2 of And Just Like That… is official, HBO Max, therefore, revealed a series of behind-the-scenes images. Here is a glimpse at some of her fashion in the upcoming season.
Revival of the iconic wedding dress
If you were a fan of Sex And The City, you may notice Carrie’s wedding dress featured in the first Sex And The City film in 2008. Interestingly, her iconic Vivienne Westwood wedding dress is back in season two of And Just Like That, the reboot of Sex and the City.
However, her style is not just as same as the previous gown featured in the film. Back in 2008, Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) wore a strapless cream dress with a turquoise feather headpiece. Also, Carrie originally paired the dress with champagne heels and a voluminous veil. So, the look is indeed a glamorous bridal look.
But, this time, she created a new bridal look with the same dress, adding a modern twist. She styled the dress with teal gloves and a matching cape, giving a pop of color. Moreover, she changed her original veil as well as her hairstyle into a birdcage with a bouffant updo. And yes, that’s what Carrie looks like about 14 years later.
Although we don’t know yet how the story will go with her dress in the new episode, the revival of the dress is still stunning on her.
A white jumpsuit
At first glance, she looked as though she was wearing a dress but, it is actually a jumpsuit with wide legs. Carrie wore a white lace Vivienne Westwood jumpsuit and platform heels. For the accessories, she also paired with a brimmed hat and turquoise bag.
All in fuchsia
She wore a long sleeve mini dress in fuchsia, styled with a matching bag, belt, and pumps.
An olive-green jumpsuit
She styled a cargo jumpsuit in olive green from Converted Closet. Also, Carrie was holding a 3D-printed style pigeon clutch bag from JW Anderson.
A colorful ensemble
Carrie was seen in a colorful striped dress, plaid overcoat, and turquoise cut-out heels. Overall, she made a beautiful ensemble.
