Melke : The Heist NYFW AW24
In a delightful homage to childhood nostalgia and cinematic charm, Melke’s Emma Gage unveiled the autumn/winter 2024 collection, aptly titled “The Heist,” at Gary’s Loft on Sunday, February 11th. As the clock struck 2 pm, fashion enthusiasts gathered to witness the whimsical spectacle listed on the official CFDA calendar.
Drawing inspiration from her favorite childhood movie characters, Wallace and Gromit, Gage transported attendees into the enchanting world of claymation capers and endearing escapades. With a nod to Melke’s signature carefree joy and childlike wonder, “The Heist” collection channels the mischievous spirit of the beloved duo as they embark on daring adventures that captivate hearts and imaginations alike.
Hair for the show was provided by Aveda, makeup by Augment and footwear by Dr. Martens. Refreshments for the presentation were provided by Harney & Sons
