Does Savage x Fenty believe in second chances?
Back in 2020, Draya made insensitive comments on the Wine and Weed podcast. After, Savage x Fenty very privately, removed Draya Michele from their Instagram page. “I’m here for it. I like that. I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot, too.” Refering to the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez incident back in 2020.
Well in 2022, Draya pleads for a second chance. “I would like my @savagexfenty deal back in 2022,” she wrote on a throwback photo on Instagram.

Draya is aware she suffers from a very serious illness. Yes, I’m talking about “word vomit”. In the past her; speaking without thinking and insensitive comments have given her a rep. I like Draya. For her sake, I wish she would’ve just thought before she joked like that, nationally.
Whether you’re a fan of Draya’s or not you’ve seen or heard about her. She’s most famous for her role on Basketball Wives LA and more recently, Doses of Draya. If you are fan of Draya, you understand her personality. So, it’s safe to assume, Draya truly meant it when she said she not idolizing abuse. “I truly don’t glorify domestic violence. I was trying to say just love me deeply,” After Draya received a substantial amount of online resentment; her energy about the situation changed. Although the model apologized to the artist, all has not been forgiven. “But while trying to be funny, I offended many, including Meg. And I’m sorry.” Draya attempted apologizing to Megan Thee Stallion which led her deservedly, nowhere. Megan responded in a hostile way, referring to Draya as a dumb b**** because of her comments.
I’m sure losing this opportunity has effected Draya’s’ income heavily. “Just wishful thinking”, miracles and more is exactly what Draya needs. Let’s be real, you offended your boss and a friend, in a major way.
Savage x Fenty
Savage x Fenty owner, Rihanna must feel betrayed. She gave this beautiful woman a opportunity, that most would die for. It’s no secret Rihanna has suffered from physical abuse during a past relationship. So, it’s no shock and almost expected of her to drop the brand ambassador. More importantly, one high profile representative that would make a mockery about something so close to her heart. I get it, Draya loves the bad boy type. But domestic abuse isn’t something you joke about. I’m sure Rihanna appreciates Draya’s apology but is it enough? I am someone who too has been in an abusive relationship before. I love Draya but I don’t think just saying sorry is going to cut it. It displays carelessness, lack of empathy, and straight up disrespect to the physically abused.
Draya is going to have to do more than say the words, “I’m sorry” I suggest she supports a domestic violence charity or non-profit organization. Throw an event supporting the men and woman who have suffered. Whatever she can do to really show not only Rihanna or Megan but everyone she offended. We want to see and feel how much “growth” she acquired resulting from of her heartless joke.
