Timeless Legacy returned to New York Fashion Week on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the  SON JUNG WAN  Fall/Winter  2024  Fashion show. The collection for both women and men, titled “Timeless Legacy,” at The Shows at Starrett-Lehigh. This highly anticipated showcase captured the romanticism of bygone eras while redefining power dressing with a modern twist

Timeless Legacy” introduced a fresh perspective on classic elegance, blending traditional elements with futuristic flair to create what the designer called “new classic elegant” styles. Embracing diversity without sacrificing simplicity, the collection exuded a retro charm, offering structured yet fluid silhouettes that radiated sophistication.

Each garment in the collection reflected SON JUNG WAN’s meticulous attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship. From impeccably tailored suits to flowing dresses, every piece embodied the brand’s dedication to timeless style and impeccable quality, whether adorned with intricate embellishments or featuring minimalist designs.

Here at The Garnette Report, we were fortunate to speak to Son Juan about her latest  collection backstage during her NYFW show 

Zoey: Congratulations on your latest collection! What was the main inspiration behind your newest collection?

Son Jung Wan: I focus on the heart of fashion, highlighting the powerful outlook of women. Through my designs, I’ve crafted a new elegance, blending timeless classics with futuristic details. From luxurious feminine powers to power dressing and romantic retro moods, my collection embodies a unique fusion. The color palette I’ve curated for this season is a mixture of timeless classics and futuristic details such as luxurious feminine powers power dressing and romantic retro moods. Zoey: Were there any particular challenges you faced during the design process of this collection?

Son Jung Wan: Creating a new collection every season can be both frustrating and challenging at times.

Zoey: What do you think your target audiences once to see from you in this collection?

Son Jung Wan: More chic and more humility, more of a woman-to-woman perspective.

Zoey: Are there any standout pieces in this collection?

Son Jung Wan: Every piece is my favorite; they’re all amazing!

With 54 stores in Asia and 110 points of sale globally, the Son Jung Wan brand remained the top-selling female-owned designer collection from Seoul and included her SON JUNG WAN Women’s, SJ Wani Juniors, WANINI Men’s, and the SJW GOLF athleisure collections.
