London Collections of Men evoked themes of travel with traditional hiking gear and technical parkas. These are most notable amongst many fashion labels due to its water-proof fabrics, adorned in striking patterns and colors, as well as high-end intricate detailing.

Stripes have been around on the runway for decades, making it a classic pattern by default for men everywhere. By the end of the AW17 season, vertical stripes will become the next big hit due to designers’ bold move of adding varying widths. The colors perfectly annotate the colors of the spring season, all in pastel hues as combined with darker tones.

The show-stopper color of the season was without a doubt, pink. The color was proudly shown at Gucci, Topman, and Haider Aickermann catwalks. Adding warm, soft hues of pink to your style is the perfect way to approach the spring/summer season. It’s always good to throw in a pop of color in your wardrobe.

  • Punk style

With the British cultural style in check with fashion week, the punk style emerged from the 90’s to become a key inspiration for many designers. This rebellious turn on fashion featured the works of Louis Vuitton biker-zipper trousers to spike braces and acid-splash denim of DSquared2.

  • Loose knitwear

As what’s been seen at Louis Vuitton, from its tousled jumpers to Dries Van Noten, the shape and length of sweater sleeves are getting longer and slouchier this summer. A word to the wise: now’s a good time to stock up on those grungy sweaters.

  • The color purple

Rich royal purple color has been most significant for the summer season. This bold move for color could have been done in honor to the untimely death of rock legend, Prince, as it was a color he was mostly adorned in. Investing in purple could definitely enhance your wardrobe, which can best be worn with pairing dark colors.
