LeBron James and John Eliott Collaborate On A New Sneaker
As a kid growing up in San Francisco, John Eliot would sketch sneakers and send them to Nike. Nike would however reject his sketches, but that did not stop Elliott. Elliott since that time has become one of the country’s most exciting young designers. But it’s funny how life comes full circle. He would go on to put himself in a position to design his very own brand-new Nike sneaker—for none other than LeBron James.
LeBron would go on to debut the collaboration back in May, walking to the locker room before an Eastern Conference Finals tilt. He stated that him and Elliott spoke and he was in his feelings. “If I sit and I think about it,” he said, “it’s like, goddamn, we just made a shoe for LeBron James!”
The sneakers produced by John Elliott’s shoe for LeBron James were released yesterday and it comes along with a seven-piece JE x Nike x LeBron capsule collection designed in tandem with the sneaker. They are also available on Elliott’s site.
Congratulations to John Elliott!!!!
