Jay Cheng Made Her Debut During New York Fashion Week
Internationally Acclaimed Milliner and Founder of Jaycow Millinery, Jay Cheng, debuted her latest collection at New York Fashion Week (NYFW). The Canadian milliner showcases her latest and most fashionable felt hats with the couture brand RVNG on the ramp. This year’s NYFW looks very different amidst a pandemic, however, Jay Cheng, brings an element of uniqueness, meticulous craftsmanship, and playful innovation to the show.
The show features Jay’s most whimsical and quirky pieces and RVNG’s “The Beyond Collection.” Both the designers were present virtually to talk about their collection.
NYFW every year celebrates creative talent through the show. While it might look very different this year, Jay Cheng’s participation shows her support for Canadian local businesses on a global level. Through her collection Jay also wants the world to understand the long-honored tradition of millinery and the beauty of a bespoke piece in one’s wardrobe.
