Ready to Wear

Founded in 2013 by Marie-Christine Statz, GAUCHERE is a French pret-a-porter house that focuses on tailoring, quality materials, and geometric structures and volumes. By the phrase “Live and let live”, the garments are timeless for the progressive woman.

Marie-Christine Statz wanted to portray a real sense of the hustle and bustle and energy of Paris–shot at the high-tech architecture building in Paris, the Centre Pompidou, GAUCHERE’s 21 items in the new Fall/Winter 2021 collection reflect “the longing for a personal armour.”

Ready to Wear

A twist on minimalism is seen in the 21 wearable, unconstructed, yet fashion forward pieces. Thread brushed wool, alpaca blends, and double faced-fabrics are seen throughout in coats, skirts, jackets, and tops.

Color palettes build on timeless neutrals like brown, greys, and dark blues, but pops of color like bright blue and green make for fun debuts. Interesting silhouettes and color blocking push the boundaries for the ready-to-wear items.
