FABULOUS WORLD OF DIOR AT HARRODS

Dior and Harrods
Dior recreated a special place for Christmas at the legendary Harrods department store. Harrods would be like a giant gingerbread house with an illuminated façade. This wonderful place is “The Fabulous World of Dior”.
Meanwhile, Harrods is one of the most famous and most-visited London department stores. Their exclusive collaboration, however, is not so out of the blue. Thanks to their long-standing friendship over seventy years, they made an exceptional Christmas event. All in all, the collaboration unites the charm of the British spirit with French luxury.

Christmas Illuminations in London
Their creative daring leads to a dazzling installation set at Harrods. Above all, the fancy window displays glitter, while the store’s Christmas illuminations offer a stunning view with shepherd’s star, Harrods’ iconic dome. Animated decorations refer to the brand. The event is open from November 10 to January 3, 2023.

A Unique Exhibition
Besides, a fabulous exhibition presents emblematic locations of the brand. From Granville to La Colle Noire and 30 Montaigne, the brand recreated the tradition of gingerbread houses to mark the life of Christian Dior. The exhibition will take you to Dior’s history with a unique experience. The enchanting journey covers haute couture, perfumes, tailoring, and the beauty of the design house. Entitled “kingdom of dreams”, the exhibition, on the whole, explores the symbols and diverse universes of the French luxury house.

Dior Café and Pop-ups
You can also look around two pop-up stores as well as Dior Café at Harrods. One is an ephemeral gift shop, while the other one reproduced an authentic gingerbread house representing Monsieur Dior’s Atelier. Hence, the special places encourage visitors to explore the iconic displays of the brand with scenery made of gingerbread and the virtuosity of its creations behind the scenes.

Also, the café serves classic French cuisine as well as British-inspired culinary specialties.
