DET BLEV SENT “Sleepless Night” Collection
September 19th, the iconic DET BLEV SENT released their latest collection called “Sleepless Night,” embracing Berlin’s 1990s underground rave culture.
The collection shows off pieces inspired by ’90s streetwear that meets the rebellious side of fashion–by taking risks in clothing, just how people did in the ’90s. With intense silhouettes and the perfect accessories to go with the pieces, DET BLEV SENT incorporated things the fashion world has been waiting for.
Such as fierce statement pieces like handmade denim fur jackets, calf-hair denim style jackets, python snakeskin embossed leather jackets, nubuck leather denim style jackets, and a beautiful red crocodile-skin-embossed leather vest. Accompanying these styles, the collection features destroyed, grunge sweaters, showing the more casual side of the ’90s as they tie in together new fashion. And finally, a faux leather cargo vest with a detachable sleeve and hoodie, and a waxed denim hooded jacket. Giving the practicality for the rave dance culture.
With that, the looks are paired with wide-leg oversized jeans, which is a ’80s/’90s trend they brought back. Along with that, waxed denim flared jeans, to add a more sophisticated look to the rave side. Completing each look with a pair of ’90s sports sunglasses. Adding nostalgia for its audience while also keeping it modern for 2023.
