Collection Launch: Nobis Canadian Outerwear FW22
On January 18, 2022, ringing in the winter season, Nobis Canadian Outerwear revealed its most innovative and modular collection to date.
Nobis focuses its designs on the form and function of cold-weather clothing while also having a clean and youthful look. With its new collection, the brand offers complete protection and adaptability to our changing climate. The pieces were strategically designed with technology to perform in all weather conditions; embracing winter, spring, and fall.
Inventive designs and practical use is what the brand is known for. Designer Director, Michael Kerr, designed this collection around the modern-day adventurer. The character presented as the inspiration for these collections is the ‘Nomad’. The ‘Nomad’ explores minimalist silhouettes designed for performance. The collection also presents the ‘Navigator’ which showcases the brand’s innovation in its tailoring and silhouettes. Both of the characters have a desire and love for adventure.
The Colors of Nobis
The Fall/Winter 2022 collection builds upon the brand’s complex designs by adding two new seasonal prints; a desert print and a structural print. The desert ‘Nomad’ print represents natural forms and movement from sands to clouds. The structural ‘Navigator’ print represents modern architecture and the balance between positive and negative. The design colors are wheat and navy.
Robin Yates, Nobis Co-founder and Vice President, expresses that the intention of the 2022 collection is “to create a mindful and holistic line encompassing everything from mid-layer shirts to traditional parkas.”
Additionally, Yates stated, “we are thrilled to further our commitment to creating durable, high-quality outerwear that’s designed for both function and fashion to complement everyday pursuits that embrace the elements.”
Truly a collection of well-engineered clothing bringing a spotlight on the balance between aesthetics and performance. The collection will be available to purchase in late August/early September 2022. The collection will be available in the US at retailers such as Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and others. Prices range from $300 – $1,400.
