It’s the first time for Burberry to have a partnership with a gaming franchise to create a fully branded gaming experience supported by a physical capsule collection.

From 1 November, the collaboration will be available, from a capsule collection to an in-game adventure titled ‘Burberry: Freedom to Go Beyond’ that is filled with adventure, creativity, and self-expression.

The Minecraft universe, the virtual space is recreated by Burberry’s eyes. Through the power of adventure, the game reimagines journeys into nature and the fantastic world: lush landscapes, golden fields, and some landmarks of London like Tower Bridge, and Big Ben, representing British symbols. Also, the logo of Burberry is seen in the exclusive image.

Meanwhile, the capsule collection is designed to unite both brands’ features. While a grey sweatshirt features embroidery, combining the pixelated flowers with the Burberry logo, the scarf has cute little floral prints mixed with pixelated logos on the nova check, the signature pattern of Burberry.

Another thing to excite fans is that the capsule collection resembles the costumes of characters of the in-game experience. Hence, the outfits and items can be worn both in the digital world and in real life. Specifically, Minecraft features 15 downloadable skins based on fashion, fantasy, and adventure.
