@acquiredstyle, better known as Bridgette, on Instagram and TikTok has taken over the fashion industry by storm. Amassing over 800k followers on each app combined, Bridgette has inspired many with her eclectic yet sensational looks. Perfectly embodying the most stylish New Yorker, I’ve been following her daily outfit inspo for a year. Whenever I’m feeling unimaginative, I turn to her videos for iconic street style.
Diesel Mini Skirt
Known for trying unique pieces, Bridgette has made a brand for herself by being able to style anything—and I mean anything. Take this $1,000 Diesel mini skirt for example. As her most viral video to-date, Bridgette paired with an acid-wash tank and matching distressed leather jacket, the look effortlessly gave western-chic. The mini black heeled boots gave the look a girly yet classy edge. A later video even depicted her styling the ultra-mini skirt as a top!
Feminine Chic
Yet, her fashion doesn’t stick to a genre. Here. Bridgette sports a monochromatic, all-pink look. Giving ’60s mod aesthetic, Bridgette tied in the off-duty dancer trend with dainty ballet flats that mimicked slippers, giving this outfit delicate vibes. Add in white sunglasses and a white headband, and the look is perfectly vintage.

Each fit picture has a curated aesthetic that can be easily altered to fit anyone’s personal needs. This SS24 fashion week brought on the bright colors, and that’s just what Bridgette did. A fluffy wool sweater in shades of pink and gold paired with green and orange cowboy boots may seem outlandish on paper, but when styled with a classic Chanel bag and enough confidence to light up a New York City street corner, this look works. Bridgette knows just how to spice up your everyday wardrobe in the best way possible.
