This next drink, Yuenyeung is a Hong-Kong style coffee milk tea by mixologist Channing Centeno. He is a head bartender at Otis at 18 Harrison Place in Brooklyn, New York.

In an interview with PunchDrink.com, Centeno says, “I want to disrupt the game. I want to make it more fun, and less singular-minded than just what’s in a glass.”

Centeno is even a bartender at a Cantonese restaurant, Bonnie’s. This location is at 398 Manhattan Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.

In an another interview with EdibleManhattan.com, Centeno credits much of his love for the industry to his mother and grandmother who are Filipino, and his father who is Black.

Hence, this Yuenyeung cocktail has a creamy and bitter taste, made with black tea and Mr. Black coffee liqueur,

Motek

Mixologist and Miami bartender Christine Wiseman is the creator of the Motek cocktail. This drink combines Mr.Black’s espresso liqueur with a labneh egg foam to create an acidic taste. In addition, Wiseman felt influenced by the Vietnamese egg yolk cream coffee to make her own Motek version. For instance, the actual drink recipe uses sugar, condensed milk, egg yolks, and robusta coffee.

What’s more, Wiseman is a Beverage Director for Bar Lab Hospitality Group. According to chilledmagazine.com, Wiseman made semifinalist for the Tales of the Cocktails American Bartender of the Year in 2028 and 2019. She made her second win as finalist for American Bartender of the Year in 2020 and 2022.

Currently, she is selected for the Alto’s Bartenders Bartender Award for 2023 after a peer-vote by North America’s 50 Best Bars.

Baby I’m Amazed

Baby I’m Amazed is a cocktail drink made by mixologist Kayla Dowell. This drink is unlike the original Espresso Martini because it is made with masa and fat washing. So, combining that with a bar spoon of Mr. Black’s creates an unusual but interesting taste in one’s mouth.

Coco Cafecito

This last drink is the Coco Cafecito by bartender Emilio Salehi. In addition, Salehi is a beverage director at Cavaña. This is a Latin American Cocktail Bar in San Francisco. Together, Salehi and his twin brother, Miguel uses their Venezuelan heritage and travels from Latin America to make their own cocktail menu along with the Coco Cafecito according to Forbes Magazine.

Thus, the ingredients for the Coco Cafecito recipe is as follows.

  1. Venezuelan rum
  2. toasted coconut
  3. px sherry
  4. almond and orange salt
