Celebrating the Inclusion of Visually Impaired and Blind Athletes Around the World…
On May 16th, 2019, The Foreseeable Future Foundation hosted their second annual Seeing Past Sight Ball. The Foreseeable Future Foundation is a Non Profit Organization, that works with individuals and organizations that focus on the visually impaired thru sports and recreation.This was their celebration of athletic and recreation inclusion for people of visual impairments of all skill levels in active lifestyle events around the world. Not to be over or under looks, tonight honorees was Gary Sheinbaum CEO of Tommy Hilfiger Americas, and Jason Romero, the first and only Blind Cross-Country Runner to Run Across America.
This night was feel of perks, a view of the city via the Tribeca Rooftop, drinks and a good time. However, these fun moments should not take from the the impact this foundation have on people lives. This night was to set up positive roots and steps to create another year of of improving the lives of people with disabilities through sports and recreation.
It was clear form the various speakers that this organization strives to be modest and humble in their teaching and approach. As well, Foreseeable Future Foundation aims to provide the tools, motivation, to empower those who seek their aid. Over all the theme of tonight was to overcome adversity.
