Harlem Fashion Row and Gap have partnered together, giving upcoming fashion designers and brands access to a fashion playbook. The Fashion playbook gives an insight into the real day-to-day fashion industry. Providing this type of access to aspiring creators boosts offering resources and tools presented at your fingertips.
As a sneak peek list of plays inside the Fashion Playbook, you can expect to learn from designers at big brands, editorials for magazines, professional photographers, writers and stylist. Each creator listed in the Playbook invites you into the journey they took. In the realm of the fashion world, several contributors explain brand campaigns roll outs, and coverage in media. Previously Harlem’s Fashion Row & Gap announced “Closing the Gap winners,” a scholarship offered to assist financial assistance for students of color at HBCUs. The program’s drive to provide additional resources to upcoming fashion designers. The previously presented scholarship would be awarded in the amount of 170,000 total to North Carolina Central and North Carolina A&T, Delaware State University, Howard University, Bowie State University, The University of East Maryland Shore, Tennessee State, University of Arkansas Pine Bluff Clark Atlanta University and Norfolk State University (Braun Jennifer Fashion Network).
