Introducing “Primordial” by Patrick Cupid

Patrick Cupid officially unveils his fall-winter 2024 collection “Primordial,” and the fashion industry is ecstatic!

This new collection is designed for all body types, featuring women’s clothing, including plus sizes, as well as a brand-new line of menswear and handbags. Cupid is an American designer emerging with designs that keep to the contemporary and luxury fashion trends.

According to a press release, when asked about his new collection Cupid said, “This collection takes us on a celestial journey of self-discovery through “Primordial,” guided by the stories written in the stars.”

Cupid incorporates a unique narrative into “Primordial” that separates itself from his previous works. These new designs portray “autochthonous individuals who left Alkebulan to venture into alternative realities” and seek to mirror each of their identities, according to a press release.

Best known for his abstract colors and prints, the “Primordial” womenswear stays true to Cupid’s style with bold blues, rich earthy tones, and bold pinks. Not only is the color palette a notable part of this collection, but the textures are equally as exquisite. Each silhouette is crafted with a different artistic approach in mind; from knits, to silks, to wool, “Primordial” has it all.

As for the men, Cupid blends the casual and formal aesthetic to create a “ready to wear” collection for any occasion. According to a press release, the base colors for the menswear are Gibraltar Blue and Rusty Rooibos, with gold and fuschia detailing, and showcase the Patrick Cupid brand aesthetic, using environmentally friendly materials.

Lastly, accompanying Cupid’s beautiful clothing line, “Primordial” includes new leather tote bags. Cupid expands into accessories with the Pedro and Antony Tote bags, which come in your choice of signature brand colors: midnight navy, onyx black, and saddle brown.

According to a press release, Cupid says the inspiration for his new collection stemmed from his ideas for the future of his brand. “The concept behind “Primordial,” originated from my contemplation of the essence and direction of the Patrick Cupid brand. We are diversifying our collection to include men’s clothing and handbags,” said Cupid.
