In 2014, Emily Weiss founded the beauty company Glossier. Founded in New York City, the company is well known on social media. The Glossier products are available on the Glossier website and in its own stores. There is a wide selection of products for skin care, makeup, and hair care.

Their Milky Jelly Cleanser is their most popular product. Removing makeup without stripping the skin of its natural oils. With the help of social media and digital marketing, Glossier has been able to grow its customer base. On Facebook and Twitter, the brand has over 500,000 followers.

E.L.F Beauty Brand

Lisa Park and Jane Park, sisters who founded E.L.F in 2004, launched the beauty brand. The company has grown steadily and now employs over 1,000 individuals. Now 20 countries sell the company’s products, and they are active on all major social media platforms. Products are known for their affordable prices and quality as they are mostly made from natural ingredients. These ingredients include jojoba oil, shea butter, aloe vera, etc.

Physicians Formula

Mineral-based makeup products and sun care products, the company is known for its mineral-based makeup products. Dr. Norman Orentreich founded the company, which was the first in the United States to introduce sunscreen. He developed a sunless tanning lotion that was commercially available, called Tan-Off. In 1961, Physicians Formula released their first product, a tinted moisturizer called “No Color Makeup.” Women who wished to wear makeup without having it show up on their skin or leave a stain behind preferred this product.

We need to take care of our beauty by eating healthy food, exercising, and getting enough sleep. Beauty industry is worth $445 billion and it is expected to grow by 3% annually. This means that there will be more and more beauty brands coming up in the future.
