NANUSHKA LAUNCHES SPECIAL CERAMICS COLLECTION WITH NOHA STUDIO

Today, Nanushka and Noha Studio have launched a special collaboration of ceramics called Nanoha. The creators, Sandra Sandor and Natalia Nemes worked hand-in-hand on these unique pieces. Both the color palette as well as the textures portray the informal beauty and feminine versatility of Nanushka.

Starting off as a weekend activity for Sandra Sandor, it quickly became obvious that this is more than just a hobby and her passion evolved into a bigger project as an organic extension of Nanushka. “The magic of ceramic art lies within the symbolic power to create, by showing how a natural material slowly turns into something unique and the final form stays a mystery until the very last moment.” – said Sandra Sandor. Originated from the ancient Japanese technique Raku, the pieces come alive from the special chemical processes that are undergone from the time consuming combination of burning glazes, burying them in the ground and then washing them into their true form. With every Nanoha piece unlike the other, this line of ceramics brings a completely individual identity to the brand.

The earthy brown tones woven in with subtle pastel pinks makes for an overlap of soft hues with imprecise shapes that contrast well in every home. Splashes of emerald green with layers of eccentric, yet creamy purples brings a eclectic concept to the collection with other beautiful colour pallets of deep browns, turquoise and creme brulee golds. The earthy layers of colours truly represents the organic feeling that the collection brings to the mind.

The Nanoha collaboration will be available online at Naushka.com with prices ranging from €40 for drinking espresso pieces, to €185 for large vases. Nanoha will be incorporated in the Nanushka Cafe at the flagship store in Budapest, in which customers will be able to buy directly from.
