  • Who are your biggest music inspirations and why?
    • T-Pain, Young Thug, Future, all of those types of rappers. I grew up listening to rap music that my brother would put on and I just fell into it.

  • Did growing up in Tampa have an influence on your sound or goal as an artist? If so, how?
    • Growing up in Tampa didn’t have a huge impact on my music. If you listen to the type of music they make versus mine, they are totally different. But there’s really great music out here in Tampa. Y’all definitely need to check it out.

  • What inspired your new song, “I’m Here”?
    • It was just another song that was just telling folks that I’m here.
  • Compared to your other singles, what do you think your fans will find the most surprising or different about “I’m Here”?
    • I think people will be far more surprised by my beat. I feel like they are wanting to know what type of beat I’m going to use next.

  • What is your creative process like when coming up with a new song idea?
    • It’s kind of whatever I’m feeling at the time. Whatever comes out of my mouth, I just put it on the mic. Or if I see something, I’d be like, damn, I’d want to talk about that. It’s just day to day things that come up. And that’s just how my creative process goes.
  • What was the biggest challenge you faced in creating “I’m Here”?
    • I didn’t face any challenges creating “I’m Here”. It was just another song and moved on to the next one.
  • What lyric resonates with you the most in “I’m Here” and why is it so impactful?

  •  The lyric “I just Helen Keller’d these n** ‘Cause these n** so irrelevant”. I think that’s probably my number one, most impactful lyric. I felt that bar so much. I don’t want to see nobody, I don’t want to hear nobody, I’m just doing me.
  • In your opinion, how has hip hop evolved since you first started making music and what would you say your music adds to the genre?
    • I feel like hip hop is in a stagnant place right now. Where I come in, I clash different genres together. But at the end of the day, it’s still considered hip-hop. Even though I’m including genres like pop and EDM and making my own type of music.
  • What are your next steps for furthering your career as a break-out artist?
    • My next step is just to keep dropping music, keep going, and give folks what they want.
