Rising Singer Amber Jones Releases Debut Single “Blueberries”

It is always important to support independent artists. Up-and-coming singer Amber Jones has just released her debut single, “Blueberries”. This recent track came out July 28th everywhere for the public. Its release came via her own label, Amber Jones Music. Her song combines R&B and pop vibes for a new alternative style. This single is Jones’ beginning, and she certainly has a bright career ahead of her.

Amber Jones is originally from Connecticut, where music was always a hobby for her. She went to college to become a nurse, but she always had music on the back burner. That is why Jones moved out to Los Angeles to be near the music scene. When she arrived in Los Angeles, she did not know anyone in music, but she still wanted to see what was out there.

One night, Jones was in an Uber when her life changed for the better. She decided to play the demo she had been working on with her Uber driver. The driver liked what they heard, so they got Jones into some writing sessions at Career Artist Management. That opportunity allowed Jones to work on her music career and develop her voice and sound. If she had never got in the Uber, Jones would probably not be in the spot that she is in today.

The Personal Side

Naturally, Amber Jones is excited about her first single and proud of the work she has done for it. “Blueberries is a deeply personal song to Jones. When asked in an interview what the song is about, Jones replied, “Blueberries’ was inspired by life choices, life choices that I haven’t necessarily been proud of. Life choices that I paid emotional consequences for. But it is these choices that have led to not only maturity but a more straight-edge lifestyle.”

Even though this is a song produced by her own label, Amber Jones has had some great help through process. A producer for this song is Scott Welch. Welch has spent a long time in the industry as a producer and engineer. He has worked alongside Grammy-nominated musicians, like Tank and the Bangas. Welch’s work has helped Jones refine her song, so that the music can tell her story in the best way possible.

Now, even though Amber Jones has her single out, there is still a lot more to expect from her in the near future. Jones is already at work on her upcoming EP. While there is no set date for the EP, it should come out sometime later this year. The sound will be similar to what is on “Blueberries. Her influences for her work include Sabrina Claudio and Pip Millet. Experts have compared Jones’ music to the likes of Alina Baraz, Snoh Aalegra, and Aistè. Her music is full of authenticity, and her debut is just building up the anticipation for the future.
