Platinum Selling Artist Mooski is Back with Visuals for Another Hit Single

Rapper Mooski is best known for his hit song “Track Star” which was released last year, and has been basking in the spotlight ever since. Its infectious melody swept the nation, landing him an RIAA Platinum Certification, over 475 million views on TikTok, about 42 million global streams, and remixes with prominent artists such as Trey Songz and Jacquees.

After “Track Star” the Capitol Records signee portrayed a different side of himself by producing tracks like “Soul Bleed” and “Zodiac Killer” that immerse you into a deeper, more vulnerable side of the upcoming rapper.

“I’m going to talk about things I was thinking and things I was going through, stuff I didn’t want to talk about. I’m going to put it in the music because I know these are things everybody is going through,” Mooski said.

This year the 24-year-old rapper has put a brief pause on his “contemplative” music and is back with another fun and upbeat tune for the fans. Mooski has just released the visual for his latest song “Scuba Diving.” As Mooski divulges his sensual yet playful feelings for a potential lover, viewers are engrossed in a kaleidoscope of fluorescent colors, vibrant water-like reflections, and seductresses.

The rapper continues to wear his heart on his sleeve throughout the video as he sings a repetitive chorus stating that he misses his lover, and is counting down the minutes till they can resume their ongoing relationship.

Although music has always been a significant part of Mooski’s life, the music he once sang as a boy growing up in Opp, Alabama couldn’t be farther from the lyrical masterpieces he produces today. The rising artist grew up in a predominately religious home where listening and performing faith-based music was a part of their daily lifestyle. Mooski, along with his mother and three sisters were even a part of the Praise and Worship Services at their local church.

Growing up wasn’t always easy though for Mooski as his family faced constant financial hardships. To help with bills and purchasing clothes for himself, he built up a strong work ethic at an early age. Mooski began working part-time jobs at the age of 15, then soon joined the Marine Corps for a four-year venture at the age of 18. After his fourth year, Mooski realized his true dream was to pursue a career in the music industry. He quickly began releasing freestyle videos on social media and recognized that his most vulnerable stories received the most attention from viewers.

Although Mooski enjoys keeping it light from time to time, he believes that he needs to use his talent to “talk about the unspoken.” Fans will be able to listen in on Mooski’s more inward tracks along with fun songs like “Scuba Diving” on his upcoming mixtape “Melodic Therapy 4 The Broken”, which is set to drop on March 11, 2022.
