Pitchfork Music Festival Releases 2021 Set Times

Music festivals are making a return for the latter half of 2021. The Pitchfork Music Festival in September will be one of the first major festivals since the COVID-19 pandemic. Pitchfork released the set times for the festival on Aug. 13.

Running Sept. 10 through 12, the Pitchfork Music Festival will see headliners such as Phoebe Bridgers on Friday, St. Vincent on Saturday, and Erykah Badu on Sunday. The festival will take place in Chicago’s Union Park.

Fans can now access the full schedule for the festival. The list includes dozens of artists, such as Ty Segall & Freedom Band, Thundercat, Big Thief, The Soft Pink Truth, and DJ Nate.

Bridgers’s headlining performance on Sept. 10 is part of her United States tour this fall from early September through late October. She will also perform at the Bonnaroo Festival, Governor’s Ball, Firefly Festival, ACL Festival, and Shaky Knees Festival.

Single-day tickets are still on sale, though the festival’s weekend passes are sold out. Fans can head to the Pitchfork website to purchase tickets.

The Pitchfork Music Festival typically runs in mid-to-late July. The festival celebrates artists from a range of genres, including alt-rock, indie rock, electronica, and hip hop. The 2021 festival marks the first since 2019, due to last year’s cancellation in response to the pandemic.
