Phoebe Bridgers Announces The Lost Weekend

Phoebe Bridgers announced her third studio album, Lost Weekend. Bridgers has teased the release after a series of pop-up shows across the US, including a penultimate $1 show at Madison Square Garden in early June, where songs from the new album were performed. She also announced a larger World Tour to follow this fall.

The New album features collaborations with her partner and collaborator, Bo Burnham, Matty Healy of the 1975, and Jack Antonoff in a production capacity.

Some fans have speculated that the title of the album is a reference to the 18-week separation of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in the 1970’s. Lennon is someone Bridgers has referenced occasionally in her discography, though there is no confirmation of this reference.

The album has yet to have any track names released.

This will be Bridgers’ first solo album since 2020’s Punisher, which was met with critical acclaim. Since then, she has released two albums with her band Boy Genius, which she founded with fellow indie-rock artists Julian Baker and Lucy Dacus.

Bridgers has also been making headlines for her phone-free concerts, partnering with Yonder pouches for her pop-ups, and on her upcoming tour. The pouches and the phone-free experience will also make an appearance with her on her longer tour as well.
