Euro Bands Celebrates ‘Bandman Szn’ Release During Birthday Bash

Upcoming rapper Euro Bands illuminated Times Square at Quad Studios with a lavish celebration of his 21st birthday, and the release of his EP “Bandman Szn.” The New York based rapper is here to rattle the music industry with an immaculate sound that puts a modern lyrical twist on top of experimental UK drill beats.  

Euro Bands, who’s real name is Tristan Todorovic, is from Roosevelt Island, NY with roots that stem from Serbia. His passion for rap music has been blossoming since the second grade with one of his biggest inspirations being Kanye West. 

The artist who is signed to Rich Blocc Records, rang in the night of his birthday and EP release surrounded by close friends and supporters on the top floor of Quad Studios. The party was a celebration of a fresh new face in hip-hop/rap with the DJ spinning the state’s classic records representing the genre. The music was followed by the artist’s invigorating performance of his debut EP “Bandman Szn.”

The six track EP is a striking reflection of the artists robust skills in creating a movement through lyrics, beats and flows. A portion of his EP contains traces of the raging UK drill sound that is currently influencing the New York rap scene which was popularized by the late rapper Pop Smoke. “Bandman Szn” is a solid body of work that adopts a dark club/trap undertone meshed with bass heavy drum beats hidden behind his distinctive deep vocal tone where he spits notable lyrics and flows. The project overall represents the Bandman movement which symbolizes an individual who makes money.

The EP opens with the bold banger track “Freddy,” which sets the tone for the whole project with captivating lyrics that send you into the mind of a dreamer and is inspired by horror movie character Freddy Krueger. The project then shifts to club anthem “Bands” which contains solid lyrics about a cash flow that makes the listener feel wealthy. The following song “Hellcat,” has a bass heavy beat with dark piano keys that adds a chilling theme to the sound. This is one of his most popular tracks on the EP as the video has so far gathered over 800,000 views on YouTube. The fourth song “Mindgames” is the most reminiscent of classic UK drill music but sprinkled with a powerful innovative twist hinted in the beat. “Drank on me” has a more relaxed vibe that can serve as a theme song for late night driving with a remarkable flow that rides the beat like a wave. The EP closes with “Outro” which is a mesmerizing upbeat track with a creative drill beat placed behind distorted vocals and heavy hitting rhymes.
