Cassidi Singer-Songwriter and Producer Is On The Rise

Cassidi is a Nashville born – New York-raised singer, songwriter, and producer. As of 2020, she has toured as well as performed in several cities. Some of those cities include Los Angeles and New York City. She spent some time on tour opening for Plain White T’s. In July 2020, she released her first single since quarantine titled “Stupid Boys.” Since then she has gained a large presence on social media platforms. If you do not know her name yet, it is only a matter of time.

Cassidi began releasing music frequently this year, embodying a new sound. Her sound is full of edgy elements while having an alternative-pop twist. A lot of her inspiration comes from traveling, creating, and learning through her experiences in the music industry. She has had multiple singles in rotation on top 40 radio stations. Not only that, but she has also topped New Year’s eve countdowns and Shazam search charts with her original music in New York.
Recent Music Releases
Since the start of 2022 Cassidi has released many singles. Some of her recent ones include, “It Doesn’t Hurt,” “Save Me,” “Fwm,” and “Stupid.” Her single “It Doesn’t Hurt” was highly anticipated before releasing back in August. The song includes a soft piano along with a synth-snapping beat. When writing this song, Cassidi examines her feelings regarding a recent breakup. In “Fwm” she sings about her healing process. She sings,
“Don’t you wish you were loving me? / Hope you run to the guys / Tell a lie that you’re done with me / You’ve had enough of me / But I’m still all you see / Hope it hurts like a b*tch when you miss this”
