Kehlani Removed Tory Lanez From Her Deluxe Album
Kehlani removed Tory Lanez’s verse from her deluxe album due to his altercation with Megan thee Stallion.
Kehlani’s brand has been pro-women, cis and trans, throughout her career. In fact, her new music video for “Can I” is an ode to sex workers. Some fans, however, wondered what her stance was on Tory Lanez’s arrest.
On Thursday morning, Kehlani released a statement taking a stand for Megan thee Stallion following the altercation:
full transparency cuz i believe in that with my following,
his verse is still on the song, the video is solo. new verse on the deluxe.

While Kehlani has confirmed Lanez has been removed from her deluxe album, fans can still hear his verse on the “Can I” music video, although he is not officially named as a featured artist anymore.
The person behind the conflict, Tory Lanez, is still in jail for allegedly shooting Megan thee Stallion in her feet.
We hope to find out more details on the situation in the coming weeks. If true, more artists need to take a stand against domestic violence.
