Chicago Based R&B Artist Feather Releases Debut single “Juke.”

On March 5th, R&B Artist Feather released her debut single to pay a buoyant tribute to Chicago’s legendary juke music scene. Its production samples DJ Rashad’s “Juke” in the bridge, which contains elements of the classic DJ Gantman track “Juke Dat Girl.”

According to Feather, “Juke is a part of the culture in Chicago that I grew up on, and I’m so excited to be a part of spreading that culture to the world.”  Her unique and sensual vocal pair immensely well with the traditional Juke music of Chicago.

Feather Building her Brand with R&B Industry

R&B Artist Feather has collaborated with an immense variety of artists, including Chris Brown and Rahky, in their remix of Tank’s “Dirty.”  She has also gone on to tour the world alongside well-known R&B artist Jeremih, where she was featured as a lead vocalist and choreography.

While she has gained recognition alongside some of the industry’s top R&B and Pop Artists of today’s music, she has also created some individual work and concepts. Buzz about her artistry was center upon her through the usage of social media, in which she posted a series of intimate performances that placed the focal point on her vocal with her simple and melodic accompaniment of keyboard.

These performances have aided her demonstration of pure talent without the usage of altering production value. She has covered several songs, even mashing songs up using the emotional effects of the keyboard. Her mash-up of Chris Brown’s “Go Crazy” and Aaliyah’s “At Your Best,” which took a more emotional approach to these, became a viral smash.  She has gradually built a name for herself, and she is for sure an artist to keep on your radar.
