Christian Cowan is like an electric dream that forcefully shocks you, however you’re addicted to it.  This show was no different.  The show began with mod inspirations from the 70’s with black and white color bullock silhouettes. As the show continued the electric designer brought out more vibrant colors and party-infused fabrics.  Even ass-less chops made their way into the show and it was lit—literally.

The best element that designer Christian Cowan sent down the runway are the neon lined dresses and blazers.  I didn’t make a spelling error he actually sent down garments that were lined with

neon lights.  What a way to light up the show.

The rockstar meets party girl design aesthetic was incredibly fitted given his extensive list of A-list stars he often dresses on major stages like the VMA’s.  Models wore seemingly modest hair and makeup to contrast the exhilarating designs that were presented.  Although another maximalist element was added to make the collection pop even more, accessories by Chris Habana.  Cowan x Habana was unsurprisingly the perfect mix of performance wear with playful shapes that complimented the PVC silhouettes.

To to top it all off the models graced the runway with Stuart’s Weitzman boots such as the astounding the thigh high bedazzled cowboy boots.  The designer told WWD that he wants the collection to feel like an escape from reality.  A tour into your dream/fantasy even if for just a second you get a glimpse into a world of your own.
