Going to the Yolancris Studio Collection for 2017, I was overly impressed by Yolan cris. Yolancris stands for Yolanda and Cristina design duo sisters from Barcelona, Spain. They debuted their  Studio 2017 Bridal Collection at the Prince George Ballroom. They used a beautiful color palette consisting of white, off-white, pastel peach, pastel blue, and vintage gold.

The show opened with a mid length hourglass shaped dress with gold beading. The model was carrying a wheat bouquet which was so interesting, I had never seen that before, very innovative in comparison to the typical flower bouquets.  Yolancris used so many beautiful beaded trims, tassels, and lace. One of their gold embroidered brocade fabrics was so intricate and exciting I will not be able to forget it. The beautiful brocade silhouettes reminded be of Alexander McQueen. The play on texture was really beautiful, they used pleated organza, textured brocade, lace, feathers, wheat appliques, and  pearls.

The collection reflected vintage Spanish style with a touch of the Italian renaissance yet it was very modern.  Many of the models were wearing the infamous floor length Spanish veil with lace trim.  The Spanish veil is very beautiful and dramatic that is why is it to flattering. Any bride would feel beautiful in any of Yolancris’ gowns. They were all very flattering on the models. Great job Yolancris, Congratulations!
