Alex Warren Wears Public School at the 2026 VMAs
Alex Warren brought a distinctly New York fashion perspective to the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, stepping onto the Los Angeles red carpet in Public School New York.
The singer-songwriter and VMA presenter attended the September 27 ceremony wearing a look from the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, styled by Avo Yermagyan. The appearance placed Public School’s signature approach to modern American dressing on one of music’s biggest red carpets.
Founded by designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, Public School New York has long drawn inspiration from the culture, energy and diversity of its home city. The independent label is recognized for merging elements of American sportswear, sharp tailoring and streetwear while continually reimagining what a contemporary New York uniform can look like.
Warren’s VMA appearance offered another example of that vision moving beyond the traditional runway and into pop culture. Against the high-energy backdrop of the awards, the AW26 look connected the label’s New York identity with a new generation of music talent.
As fashion and music continue to intersect on the red carpet, Warren’s Public School moment brought a piece of New York style to Los Angeles and put the independent label in the spotlight during one of the year’s most visible music events.
