KARMÅ Releases Debut EP Luminera
Electronic dance music artist KARMÅ unveiled her debut EP “Luminera” with Kalypso Records on Friday, April 12th. This new album introduces audiences to KARMÅ’ s mesmerizing blend of ethereal, atmospheric melodies entwined with hypnotic techno beats. Each track paints a vivid sonic landscape, inviting listeners on a journey into a new chapter of electronic music. This captivating collection of songs serves as a testament to the transformative essence of music, transporting you away to another realm. The EP features enchanting tracks like “The Alchemist,” “Freeze as You Fall,” and “Limerence.” Moreover, San Diego’s house and techno producer, Burko, is scheduled to release a remix of “The Alchemist” titled “The Alchemist (Burko Remix)” on Friday, April 26th.
Under the professional name KARMÅ, Clarissa Siposs emerged as a classically trained composer, songwriter, producer, and performer, renowned for her distinctive style of dance music. Due to her early education in piano composition, her music is imbued with a deep understanding of melodic structure and harmonic complexity, shaping her creative process and musical identity. After refining her dynamic performance skills within various bands, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Production and Sound Design. With four years of experience in DJ’ing, KARMÅ has evolved into a versatile and innovative artist within the vibrant Los Angeles music scene, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of contemporary electronic music production. Her noteworthy recent performances include sets for INMO, 6AM, and Incognito.
KARMÅ continues to push the boundaries of electronic house music through her innovation and creativity. Upcoming performances include Electric Eden in San Diego, CA on Friday, April 26th with Burko, The CatWalk Club in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, May 9th with Reunite, and Koncept in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, May 17th.
