Journey Montana A Teen Sensation

Journey Montana, a teen R&B sensation, is the next big thing in music. She’s one of the newest rising singers coming out of Harlem. Her single “Selfless” generated significant buzz receiving 238,000 views on Youtube. Her start in music started with creating singing covers on Youtube only three years ago. With her parents being a part of the music industry, she was able to learn a lot. In an interview with Bobby Pen, Journey states that she spent time with her mother in studio sessions, and her father was a professional singer. Before she rose to fame and developed a solid fanbase, Journey was in a girls group which played a significant role in her artist development with recording artists and songwriting.

She’s at the top of the game, with her single “Selfless” being featured in an AD by Beats by Dre for Black History Month. She mentioned to On The Radar Radio with Gabe that her manager pitched the AD and used her song. As she developed her career, she learned that consistency on social media is vital, along with constantly releasing new singles or dropping an EP to continue to relate to young girls that look up to her. Her music continues to blow numbers up; in her single “Case of The Ex,” she sings about her real-life experiences, including heartbreak and one-sided relationships/friendships. She wants her fans to take away from her music’s are emotions by helping them express their feelings and to feel relatable to any of her songs.

What’s Next and What She Does Besides Music

Journey expects to continue to evolve as an artist and focus on dropping more singles. In her free time, she mentions to Bobby Pen that she’s into astrology, and family and friends come to her for any advice and that she draws. Supporters can stream her music on any streaming platform.
